Hello.

Hi all,

I am new to this sort of thing, so don't mind if I bumble and fumble my way through this.  Not too long ago I heard someone say "cross stitch is a dying art."  I started thinking of a picture my grandmother made for me called "grandmas last hope", she taught my mother how to stitch, and my mother taught me....I didn't pick it up until my adult life, and even now...it's off and on between time, life, work and parenthood.  I had forgotten how much peace it brings me....

I started reading cross stitch blogs I found online, and so I decided to try one....now I just have to find my way around haha.  I love seeing all the creative ideas out there and encouragement.  Although I'm not sure how to put in a photo, I am currently working a project for my beloved...
